The aim of borportal.hu is to introduce the figures of Hungarian wine production, wine tourism and gastronomy, and to announce news and wine surveys, publicise articles concerning wine, and recommend events. In our what's on column, readers can choose from wine and gastronomy festivals, wine competitions, wine evenings, trade exhibitions and conferences, broken down by region, chronological order or thematic content.

borportal.hu presents wine producers, restaurants and accommodation availability related to wine tourism by region, not only in Hungarian, but also in English, German and Polish. In this way, wine lovers can construct a three or four day gastronomic tour in Hungary for themselves.

According to plans, wine houses will also appear on borportal.hu, as well as various carriers of the wine trade in the owners' shop, so it is worth while for wine producers and not just those interested in wine to check out the portal regularly.

We consider it important to provide quality service to those visiting the wine portal. So first and foremost we are looking for wine producers whose wines have received a favourable classification from the domestic or international trade press. Restaurants and accommodation spots may be included in the portal on the recommendation of wine producers. In the owners' shop, companies may appear, broken down by trade, which manufacture implements, materials and packaging products for wine producers, as well as those which provide a consultation service.
