Tokaj-hegyalja - Tokaj-hegyalja,

Theoretically, geological and geographical considerations would be an explanation for why Tokaj-Hegyalja is lumped together with Eger under the name of the Upper Hungary Region. After all, this wine region is also located on the border of the Great Plain (Alföld) and the highlands, on the southern slopes of the volcanic Zemplén Hills. On the other hand, Tokaj represents such a unique style with its full-bodied dry and sweet botrytis wines, that it is justified to classify it as a separate region. The aszú and szamorodni wines produced from Furmint, Hárslevelű and Sárga Muskotály are unique throughout Europe, and increasingly fine dry wines are also produced with vineyard area (dűlő) selection and cask maturation.    Survey
What do You know about Hungarian wine?

Really nothing, but I don't care.
Cheap wine from East-Europe.
Hungarian wines are getting better, they could be the surprise of the next years.
The only interesting is Tokaj.
I'd like to know more.
